Hey Laurie. The recording sounds very good. I noticed it's panned 100% to the left. Did you, perhaps, record in stereo when using only one mic? Try recording mono so that the single mic will be in the center. If you want I can make this recording mono for you.

I was impressed by this performance so I took it and converted it to Mono and send it through an EQ to get the resonsance frequencies of the room away (around 180Hz) - after I used a LA2a leveler and a 1176 compressor - only to smothen the peaks a little - I did almost no compression.
I left the noisefloor on it because it sounds like a vintage tape recording this way - you sould hear it - and everybody else as well, to estimate the great ADK s51a microphone !
